Background and context

FT Strategies is an expanding division of The Financial Times, offering consultancy services to global organisations and initiatives to provide in-depth market analysis, partnering with industry leaders like Google News Initiative to produce reports on future growth strategies.

Clarity, brand consistency and carrying the FT's distinctive tone of voice are essential to driving the division's expansion into new markets.

Role and approach

Working directly with Directors and consultants, the aim was to translate complex data and strategic insight into clean, easy-to-read reports.

My style is to keep things clean and serene, removing clutter - to focus the reader on the content. I established Style Libraries and a consistent grid system in InDesign — adaptable to both US Letter and A4 formats — ensuring fast turnarounds without compromising on quality.

Available in both print and digital formats, these reports serve as a showcase for FT's consultancy division as they look to expand their services across the globe.
